Our extra-curricular highlights
Dhangutti Language and Culture
This program involves elders and educators working together to teach language to student, strengthening their cultural identity and connection to country. Learning an Aboriginal Language provides an opportunity for Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal students to better understand local Aboriginal culture and helps build inclusion, identity, self-esteem and resilience among students.
Creative and performing arts
Our drama, music and art programs help students be creative and express themselves. They can join in concerts, art shows and drama activities.
Trips and excursions
Our students enjoy getting out of the classroom to explore, learn and try new things. These experiences help them grow, build confidence and see how their learning connects to the world.
Student Representative Council
The SRC gives students a voice, helps them learn to be leaders, encourages responsibility, builds community, and helps improve the school. It's a great way for students to be involved and make a difference.
